Question 6: What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
1. What have you learnt about technologies
from the process of constructing this
product?
2. Camera work
Here is two screen shots from the first shot in my peace. It shows a zoomed out shot
focusing on the criminal profile. In the second picture it shows a close up shot of the
same criminal profile. During this task I have learnt how a camera works and shown by
these pictures from my peace I have learnt how to zoom in from a shoot in picture 1 to
a close up in picture 2.

3. These two screen shots are taken later on in the peace. Picture 1
shows a shot fully zoomed out and non focus shot of the roulette
wheel spinning around. Picture two shows a zoomed in and fully
focused shot of the roulette wheel. Within my time working on
this peace this is a other skill I have picked up and that’s how to
use to focus feature on the camera to gain a higher quality shot.

4. These two shots are showing my characters walking down a ally
way. These shots where filmed using a tripod with a camera set
up on it so the camera sat dead still to capture the shots without
any camera movement. Within this peace I learnt how to
effectively use a tripod stand and fit and film the camera.
5. 5
these shots of the same charters walking down the same place put the use of
different camera angles and in the clip they follow each other. this create the
sense that the drug lord is being followed by the hitman with is how it is
meant to be. the cream was placed on a tripod on at different points while
the charters walked down. during this peace i have learnt how different
camera angles can totally effect the way each frame is looked at as from
behind a facial expression is unable to be seen but on the other angle this is
visible.
6. Editing work
By using premier elements I added a text seen in picture 1 (sage
productions) and as this fades out as I selected a fade to black
effect and when this fades out the video zooms in to focus more
on the roulette wheel in picture 2 this makes it a smooth
transition as the shot zooms in.
7. This shows a still of the ball on green but within the
editing software I stretched out the clip to make it stay on
the shot for longer as this is a very important part of my
clip as just before the charter who is the drug lord says
‘you will never find me the roulette wheel never lands on
green’. So this is a important hence why I stretched out
this shot.
8. • This shows a still shot of my clip with text on the screen saying
‘Sage Productions’. i have learn how to insert text on to a
moving image and for the duration of the text i have cut it so
the text flashes on the screen as it passes from text,to no text
back to text ,and it look as the text is flashing on top of the
moving image behind the text. this is something els have learnt
during the production of this project.
9. 9
this still shot is a part in my clip where the criminal profile of the drug lord is
first viewed and as the camera pans over to it i have stretched out the frame so
there is a longer image of the criminal profile also at this point the soundtrack
music fits in well with whats happening as this is the bad charter who is being
chased the music fits for whats happening on screen. during this product i have
learned how to stretch clips out and frames so they hold for longer to create a
larger focus point on them as they are very important.
