PhotoshopLooking at my Ancillary project edit compared to my Final pages it is clear that there is a massive improvement. I have
utilised tools in Photoshop that I hadn’t before such as the polygon lasso tool, this allowed me to highlight and brighten
certain features of the photograph such as the lips and eyes of the model. The clone tool allowed me to remove any
skin blemishes, I was also able to change the skin tone and remove roots from the hair. With brush tools I was able to
make facial features more prominent such as the cheek bones, although this was also done with make up.

3. Facebook
This social networking site is one of the largest forms of communication for my target audience as it has such a
large success. To communicate with my audience I asked them to comment on the layout, content, genre,
colour and photography of my magazine by making a focus group and posting my final pages on here, I
collected a range of answers and was able to comment on these in question four which helped me to
understand what was successful with my audience.
This media platform makes it fast and easy to create market research. I was able to create a survey and receive
feedback from my target audience quickly, I then used Microsoft word to create bar and pie charts to display my
results which looked more professional and easy to understand.
Both of these websites aren't time consuming as they are very fast and effective, they are useful websites to
use when communicating with my target audience quickly and easily.

4. Prezi
Prezi was used to display my evaluation questions, it is displayed in the way a Power point is although it is more
modern and looks more professional than PowerPoint. The site can be quite hard to use at first but once you se
used to it and understand the format of the program it is easy, although this site is time consuming it is
definitely worth it due to the professional style outcome.

Sound cloud is also another modern technology I used when I was displaying my evaluation questions, this
software allowed me to record my voice answering my question 5. This is extremely fast to do as I was able to
use my smartphone to record, I was then Abe to upload it straight to my blogger page. This media platform is
often used to distribute music, especially to my target audience as it is a free app. The only problems that
occurred when using this software was that the room I was recording in had to be extremely quiet as it is a very
sensitive microphone.
