I used a consistent black and yellow colour theme throughout the magazine to create a bright, attractive design. The topics discussed on the front cover and content pages, such as what the artist has purchased recently, would interest the target audience and encourage them to read more. Summaries of more interesting topics were provided on the front and inside pages to further intrigue readers. An attractive model on the front cover and inside pages represented the artist and hinted at secrets through his facial expressions and body language, drawing the audience into the full story in the double page spread. These visual and content strategies helped attract and engage the target readership.

2. Question 5) How did you attract/address your target audience?
I used many ways and methods to attract my target which consist of using a constant coloured theme of black and
yellow throughout my front cover, content page and double page spread. Which creates a bright attracting effect.
Moreover the text and topics I used on the front magazine was interesting and the target audience would be
interested in to reading it as it contains information about what is inside the magazine and what the artist does with
his life, for example what new things he has purchased. By using these techniques and effects it creates an interesting
environment so that the target audience wants to read on as each topic is summarised and some that are more
interesting only a little bit is exposed on the front cover or the content page. Moreover I have placed a talented
looking model on the front cover, content page and double page spread to show the fact that the magazine is all about
the artist, in the front magazine the model is positioned in the centre which a medium long shot has been taken by a
Canon DSLR camera. He is looking direct at the audience which immediately indicates that he has something to say or
he is hiding a few things. This is where his facial expressions and his body gestures link in with the information
displayed on the front cover and the content page and in full detail explained in the double page spread. Through
these effects and techniques I managed to attract and address my target audience.
