WHAT SOCIAL GROUP HAVE I TRIED TO
REPRESENT?
As my main target audience is young
adults (16-25) I have tried to give them
characters which they can relate to, with
the good guy and the bad guy.-I hope
this
would allow the audience to become
more
connected to my film.
HOW DOES MY FOOTAGE REPRESENT?
I think many people may be able to
relate
to Jack Steele in my films as the young
adult stage of a life is very difficult you
can
often feel trapped and as though people
are against you.
HOW DOES MY FOOTAGE REPRESENT?
I feel they way my character is in an
enclosed space with the "baddie“
confining him to this space and not
allowing him to leave can be
representative of how some people feel.
GENERAL PORTRAYAL OF YOUNG PEOPLE
Young people in the media a generally
displayed in a negative way e.g.
• Anti-social
• Aggressive
• Hooligans
• Dangerous
HOW DOES MY CHARACTERS POSING AND
COSTUME REPRESENT?
I think that the obvious difference in
power
between the two characters shown by
the
difference in their height potion may be
representative of how many young
adults
feel when first going into the world and
being "bottom of the pile".
HAVE I CONFORMED WITH THESE
CONVENTIONS?
I would argue that I have not conformed
with these and have tried to represent
young people in a more positive manner
as I feel many conventions of young
people are inaccurate and only from a
minority.
