This document discusses primary and secondary research methods. • Primary research is a form of original research
that is undertaken to be able to have the
knowledge of certain information through
using techniques such as
interviews, questionnaires and focus groups.
• Secondary research is a form of research that
is undertaken using existing sources that other
people have gathered.

I carried out my
online research by
emailing family and
friends as that

• From my results I can see that the older
generation have the tendency to have more
knowledge on the subject of social
realism, where as the younger generation do
not.
• I can also see that I shall have to reconsider
some possible ideas for my final piece to
suitor my target demographic.
