The document discusses analytics tools and processes for analyzing e-commerce user data from a new website. It outlines steps for tracking user actions with Heap, defining significant actions, discovering drop-offs, and mapping events to e-commerce categories. Tools mentioned include Heap, Disco, QlikView, Google Analytics, and WunderdataBI for analyzing user paths and abandoned carts. The back-end order fulfillment process is also discussed. Contact information is provided to learn more.

The presentation was prepared for a keynote which I was honored to give at the TAProViz Process Visualization workshop at BPM 2014 conference.
TAPROVIZ'14 was the 3rd International Workshop on Theory and Applications of Process Visualization , organized by Ross Brown, Simone Kriglstein and Stefanie Rinderle-Ma. The workshop took place at the 12th Business Process Management (BPM) in Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) during the second week of September (7-9-2014 until 12-9-2014).

This document discusses intelligent process management through process intelligence. Process intelligence integrates automatic process discovery, machine learning techniques, and advanced business discovery technology to analyze historical event log data and generate visual models of business processes. It can be used to improve operational efficiency by establishing patterns between external and internal events and allowing management to monitor operations and key performance indicators in real-time. Process intelligence provides an integrated view of a company's performance from process perspectives and alerts management to correct deviations in ongoing processes.
One of the things I enjoy most in process analysis is combining technologies. The idea is that deliverables generated by one technology, can be associated nicely with deliverables generated by other technologies. Such combinations reveal new magnificent insights about our processes, and opportunities for improving them.
The three technologies that I find extremely friendly and "opened minded" for such a challenge are: the BPM manager of Priority ERP, Disco - an Automatic Process Discovery tool, and QlikView -a business discovery tool.
The attached presentation includes practical examples to get you inspired. So, go ahead and give it a try!

Becoming a Process Minding Organization - a Solution OverviewDafna Levy
While process mining is perceived by many as a very cool technology, yet companies are not willing to embrace it as warmly and quickly as expected. Managers still expect more convincing and significant added value. Another issue might be with offering process mining technology as somewhat detached solution and not taking into account BI solutions, which might already exist in a company.
The attached presentation proposes a solution which is based on an integration of ERP, BI and process mining technologies.
The technologies used enable a quick, easy and low cost “jumpstart” in order to increase ‘process minding’ in a company. Hope you find it useful!
Process mining can help organizations in three key ways:
1. It provides an objective view of "as-is" business processes by analyzing data from existing IT systems. This reveals inefficiencies like hidden activities, idle times, and bottlenecks.
2. It verifies compliance by comparing actual processes to approved models and rules. This can discover compliance issues like skipped activities or violations of rules.
3. It provides insights for improvement like comparing employee performance and understanding social collaboration patterns. Process mining gets an accurate picture of processes to discover waste and monitor the effects of changes.
This document describes how manufacturing intelligence software can analyze production data to create accurate models of the actual production process. Some key capabilities include mapping the executed production processes, identifying deviations from planned routings, analyzing machine and operator performance, locating bottlenecks, and comparing work orders, parts, and workers. The software extracts data from ERP or MES systems, builds visual process models in Disco based on that data, and allows filtering and comparison of work orders, cells, machines, and other factors to reveal issues like long idle times, breakdowns, or sources of rework or rejected parts. This helps manufacturing professionals better understand complex production processes and identify areas for improvement.

1) The document discusses business process management (BPM) and related topics like workflow modeling, BPR, Six Sigma, and BPMN.
2) It provides examples of workflow modeling concepts like swimlanes and token passing in workflows.
3) It emphasizes that BPM and workflow can help organizations by improving processes, aligning functions, and creating a competitive advantage through differentiation.
The document discusses getting traction for process improvement initiatives. It notes that people often have negative reactions to the word "process" and see it as boring, dehumanizing, or a threat to their jobs. It emphasizes the importance of clearly defining what constitutes a business process and providing guidelines for naming and understanding processes. These include processes being triggered by external events and having discrete, countable results. The document also stresses that while functions are important and efficient, they can conflict with overall process goals if the process is not clearly defined and managed as a whole. It argues for identifying process owners to set direction and resolve conflicts between functions.

Analyzing Business Requirements in a Visible EnterpriseDafna Levy
The document discusses business requirements analysis and process modeling using Metastorm Provision BPA. It describes how BPA can be used to close gaps in business processes by providing a common language between business and IT. BPA captures requirements as software models to gain consensus and jointly analyze and design processes.
The document discusses business performance management (BPM), business intelligence (BI), and business rules (BR). It covers how BPM, BI, and BR relate to and support each other. It also addresses how to measure and score the relationship between BPM and BR as well as between BPM and BI.
עברית - Improving Supply Chain Processes with SCOR & Metastorm ProvisionDafna Levy
This document discusses a 6 step process for redesigning processes using Metastorm Provision. The steps include: 1) conducting a scope workshop to define goals, 2) performing a process analysis workshop to map processes, 3) holding a process redesign workshop to improve processes, 4) using Metastorm Provision to model new processes, 5) testing and validating new process designs, and 6) implementing improved processes.
This document discusses starting a first business process management (BPM) project using Lombardi Blueprint. It recommends using process modeling collaboratively to inform process automation. The agenda outlines that BPM suites have shortcomings, modeling is a collaboration tool, and how to get started with modeling and BPM. Definitions provided clarify BPM, BPMS, and BPA terms.
