participant lists, venue, equipment etc.
Phase II: Needs Assessment (for short courses)
We shall have discussions with a selection of prospective participants or a discussion
with right persons in Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Loss Prevention
Departments to identify need areas. These diagnostic sessions would provide us with
in-depth awareness of Company/ Institutions peculiar issues relating to designing and

SK CONSORTIUM – COMPANY PROFILE Page 14
Phase III: Development of Training modules and Workshop Programme (for short
courses)
The information from phase II, would enable us develop precise content areas and
detailed materials for the training programme. The training materials will cover
comprehensively, both concepts and practical application of the topics to be covered
with specific focus on your need areas. These would either be duplicated on CDs or
bound in the form of a manual depending on which option you prefer. Each participant
will receive either a manual or a CD or both as a training guide for use during the
workshops.
Phase IV: Delivery through Workshop Facilitation & Activity-Based Programmes
This training will not only attempt to impart knowledge but also aim at equipping
participants with the tools to appreciate, accept and better understand as well as
implement and improve the organisation’s HSE Methods in practical ways. We will
achieve this by making our workshops interactive, experiential, and contemporary and
most of all memorable. We will use a number of training methods including
brainstorming, videos, interactive sessions, real life cases as well as discussions and
lecture format within a workshop environment to enhance the learning process.
Phase V: Programme Evaluation and Training Report
In line with our business philosophy of continuous improvement and excellent service
delivery, we require trainees to provide an immediate assessment of our training
programmes at the end of the workshops by filling out a simple questionnaire. This
assessment will provide feedback on participant’s impression of the training in terms of
SK CONSORTIUM – COMPANY PROFILE Page 15
delivery, methods, material content and facilitators. The issues, challenges, participant
comments, suggestion as well as corporate contextual issues that emerge during the training
workshop will be presented to company HSE and Human Resource Department in the form
of report.
Phase VI Post-Training Impact Assessment
We shall return to company/Institution and carry out a random assessment of HSE
measures after the training programme. The aim of this is to ensure that participants
have made that important transition from training to knowledge skill use. We shall
provide a brief report indicating the challenges and successes we find on the ground
in the area of HSE procedures. HSE management systems will require a monitoring,
evaluation & control mechanism. We will be happy to assist.
