Employee Referral Program
The Gitxsan Development Corporation and its affiliated entities recognize that “good people know good
people”. Our Employee Referral Program is designed to encourage staff to identify positive qualities in
friends, acquaintances and family, promote GDC as an employer of choice and to motivate their
contacts to apply for active or future job openings.
This program awards employees when they assist GDC in finding qualified employees to join our team.
It will also help decrease the cost per hire and decrease turnover.
To encourage employees to refer new employees, an award of $100 will be provided to the referring
employee, (less applicable taxes), after the referred candidate is hired and passes the probationary
period (480 hours worked).
