During the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages of the project, new media technologies were used including a Traveler HD 10X camera to record high quality HD footage. A LED light on the camera provided brightness in dark locations and playback allowed reviewing footage. A Yousave Accessories compact portable travel tripod was also used to shoot stationary footage, extending up to 3 meters and allowing panning and tilting.

9. Hardware – Camera
The camera I have chosen
to use Traveler HD 10X
which records footage in
HD which gives my
footage the best quality to
represent higher
production values. This
camcorder has features
such as an LED light to
give brightness in dark
locations. The camera also
has playback so I could
look at the footage to
determine whether shots
are of the quality
expected.

10. Hardware - Tripod
The tripod was used to shoot
footage which was not filmed by
hand so the tripod could remain
stationary through out the video.
The tripod I used was Yousave
Accessories Compact Portable
Travel Tripod which is a lightweight
tripod which extended 3 metres
max which allows the tripod to pan
left and right and up and down.
