From this I can see what my audience would like to see. The colour scheme black and white would fit in perfectly with the band, Inside View, as their style is very professional, and sophisticated, just like the colours. I will keep my album cover to a high standard of professionalism.The majority of consumers who took part in this questionnaire preferred to have a symbolic meaning to the album cover, as it would make them divulge more into the bands purpose, and what they aim to do.By one vote, a straightforward meaning lost, however, I think that a picture of the band would be quite straightforward, yet it would look professional on the cover.When making my cover I will try to incorporate the two into one another, in order to create the perfect balance.The majority of the people I asked stated that they would prefer to pay up to £5 - £10 for an album. This is merely based on the talent of the band, and how well presented their album is. If an album doesn’t look good, customers will doubt themselves about buying it.“If I like a band, and they have good talent, I’ll be happy to pay whatever price they ask. But they have to be good. They can’t be just like everyone else. They have to be individual.”One out of ten people said they would be willing to pay over ten pounds for an album. I asked them their reasons behind their choice, and he clearly stated, I think that the majority of customers would like to see the artist(s) on an album cover simply because, they won’t need to read the artists name, as they would be able to recognise them easily, and also that the artist always looks good on the cover.In my own work, I will include images of the band members, in order to incorporate what the buyers want into it, but also to make my piece look aesthetically pleasing.
