2. The aim is to study the correlation between posterior tibial slope
changes and its association with osteoarthritis of knee joint
Aim
3. The objective is to calculate the posterior tibial slope in lateral view
X-ray of knee joint in subjects and correlate its relation with
osteoarthritic degenegration of knee joint
Objective
4. • Over 35 years of age
• Subjects with degenerative knee joint complaints
Inclusion criteria
5. • Under 35 years of age
• History of acute trauma
• History of prior surgeries in the knee
Exclusion criteria
6. Posterior tibial slope is measured by drawing a
horizontal line perpendicular to the anterior tibial
cortex. A third line is drawn along the tibia
plateau. The angle formed by the horizontal
perpendicular line and the proximal tibial margin
represents the slope angle.
7. • General examination
• Radiological evaluation of digital X-ray of standing view knee joint lateral view
Methodology
