The realist period was a time of the nineteenth century in which authors, artists and other people in
literature provided in depth accounts of events that occurred during that time period. In Gustave
Flaubert s A Simple Heart, he explored the lives of two fictional women of different classes
(middle and lower) during the realist period. Through characters like Madame Aubain, a rich woman
and Felicite, her poor, gentle maid, he provided the reader with a sneak peek of nineteenth century
France.
The first sentence of A Simple Heart gives the reader an ironic insight of the protagonist Felicite.
It states Madame Aubain s servant Felicite was the envy of the ladies of Pont l Г‰vГ«que for
half a century (2208, A Simple Heart).By giving a brief synopsis of the protagonist, it makes the
reader wonder why was she the envy of the other women around her. She was serving another
woman. What was there to envy? Flaubert must have done this on purpose to get the reader to put
a price on happiness. Even the words used to describe the other women ladies would bring a great
deal of doubt to the reader.
Flaubert introduced the seemingly simpler character, Felicite first, with a rather vivid and
detailed description. He portrayed her as a woman that was different from the others. Being a
maid, Felicite was not expected to be complex and Flaubert did her much justice. He described

Since I am interested in China, I decided to find out a little more about it. One of the first things
I would like to find out is some basic information about the country. Another thing I would like to
find out is what happened in China s history. Furthermore, it would also be interesting to learn
about the country s current leader. In addition, I would like to find out about popular attractions
that are located in China. Finally, I want to learn about a famous person who was born in China.
Those are some of the things I hope to learn from doing this project. The first thing I wanted to
find out was some basic information about China. There was a lot of information about China.
First of all China s location is located in the eastern part of Asia. China s land area is pretty
massive. It s about 9,596,960 square kilometers, therefore that s enormous. China s population is
pretty considerable that they have a bigger population than us, but I still don t know if they eat
cats lol. There was a huge growth between 2000 and 2010, therefore there was about 0.9 percent.
China s population grew pretty huge in 2010, because the population grew to 1,392.5 million
people. In addition, China s climate is pretty averaged, therefore meaning its nice weather. The
language the population of China uses is Mandarin. That s basically the information for China. The

Canada is routinely defined as the exemplar multicultural society with the most diverse cities in the
world such as Vancouver, Toronto and Quebec. The concepts of integrity and complexity are being
shaped in Canadian society because of its co existence of different cultures. Indeed,
multiculturalism has been a keystone of Canadian policy for over 40 years with the aim of
pursuing Canadian unity (Flegel 2002). Accordingly, Canadais generally estimated a country where
people are all equal and where they can share fundamental values based upon freedom. Diversity is

economic development in term of their level of education, occupational skills and languages. Those

accepted through Canada s immigrationpolicy (Banting 2010). Even though diverse cultures and
differences of minorities were recognized and celebrated within the bilingual framework during the

Introduction
Programming is a skill that is widely specialised in the growing technological environment/market.
There are many programming languages available to the programmer to use. Some of these are
event driven programming and oriented programming language. Within the programming there are
also data types available to the developer which benefits them and the end user.
This report will embrace why different programming languages have been developed. It will also
compare and contrast event driven programming and object oriented programming languages.
