Zephaniah prophesied judgment and blessings. He warned Judah and surrounding nations that God's judgment was coming for disobedience. However, for those who repent, blessings would follow including restoration, joy in Jerusalem, and salvation. Ultimately, the "day of the Lord" is coming, but it will bring purification so that God's people can enjoy relationship with Him without sin.

Key differences between strengths and weaknesses are that people enjoy using and developing their strengths while trying to avoid weaknesses, and working with strengths creates a positive environment while weaknesses involve negativity and lack of progress.
Because He lives

It notes that animal sacrifices under the old law could not truly take away sins, but Jesus's single sacrifice was sufficient. - 3. Proverbs 21:12 The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness. (NIV) 12 The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin. 3 Good men envy not the prosperity of evil-doers; they see there is a curse on them. Matthew Henry Concise Bible Commentary.
- 4. Psalm 37 1-2 Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Sometimes people look at the rich and famous and feel envious, without considering the evil they do. 4 The Righteous Judge is watching, and He will make all things right in the day of judgment.
- 5. Romans 6 21-23 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is very short-sighted to envy sinners; they have 5 nothing good to look forward to. While we have eternal life with the Lord God.
- 6. 6 Psalm 34 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His Name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. If we only seek God’s face, He will hear our cry and deliver us from all our fears. Genesis 15 1 After these things the Word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
- 7. 7 Matthew 10 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Luke 12 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the Kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- 8. Psalm 34 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him. Learn to trust the Lord; He is faithful to His own. The Lord will deliver us out of all our troubles. Learn to wait patiently and see what 8 the Lord will do. Don’t panic before the need arrives; Trust!
- 9. 13 Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard. 9 We see so many who are con artists that we sometimes hesitate to help anyone. But God wants us to help the truly needy, whom He puts in our lives.
- 10. We can’t help everyone who is in need. But when God puts someone in my life, and God 10 has supplied my need with an abundance. Then I should, with that abundance, help that needy person. Don’t just build a bigger barn and store up your abundance. Share God’s blessings.
- 11. 11 14 A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath. Why do many husbands buy flowers for their wife? To pacify her anger.
- 12. 12 15 It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. The righteous welcome justice when we receive it. Workers of iniquity hate it because it’s against them.
