Sermon by: Brian Birdow
Many blame God for their sufferings, sicknesses, miseries and other mishaps in their lives. He is not the One to be blamed. He is your Heavenly Father.
(Matthew 7:11) If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, HOW MUCH MORE WILL YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN GIVE GOOD THINGS to those who ask him!
God is good all the time!

Slide 1: Title: Exploring the Mindfulness: Understanding Its Benefits
Slide 2: Introduction to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, defined as the conscious, non-judgmental observation of the present moment, has deep roots in Buddhist meditation practice but has gained significant popularity in the Western world in recent years. In today's society, filled with distractions and constant stimuli, mindfulness offers a valuable tool for regaining inner peace and reconnecting with our true selves. By cultivating mindfulness, we can develop a heightened awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surroundings, leading to a greater sense of clarity and presence in our daily lives.
Slide 3: Benefits of Mindfulness for Mental Well-being
Practicing mindfulness can help reduce stress and anxiety levels, improving overall quality of life.
Mindfulness increases awareness of our emotions and teaches us to manage them better, leading to improved mood.
Regular mindfulness practice can improve our ability to concentrate and focus our attention on the present moment.
Slide 4: Benefits of Mindfulness for Physical Health
Research has shown that practicing mindfulness can contribute to lowering blood pressure, which is beneficial for heart health.
Regular meditation and mindfulness practice can strengthen the immune system, aiding the body in fighting infections.
Mindfulness may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and obesity by reducing stress and improving overall lifestyle habits.
Slide 5: Impact of Mindfulness on Relationships
Mindfulness can help us better understand others and improve communication, leading to healthier relationships.
By focusing on the present moment and being fully attentive, mindfulness helps build stronger and more authentic connections with others.
Mindfulness teaches us how to be present for others in difficult times, leading to increased compassion and understanding.
Slide 6: Mindfulness Techniques and Practices
Focusing on the breath and mindful breathing can be a simple way to enter a state of mindfulness.
Body scan meditation involves focusing on different parts of the body, paying attention to any sensations and feelings.
Practicing mindful walking and eating involves consciously focusing on each step or bite, with full attention to sensory experiences.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Lesson 9 - Resisting Temptation Along the Way.pptx
Dwell in his word going on to perfection
1. Hebrews 6:1 NKJV Therefore, leaving the
discussion of the elementary principles of
Christ, let us go on to perfection, not
laying again the foundation of repentance
from dead works and of faith toward God,
2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of
hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of
eternal judgment.
3 And this we will do if God permits.
2. 1. Start Your Day With JESUS
2. Leave Your Worries to God- HE Cares
3. Experience the Presence of God Daily
4. Find Your
place In Ministry
5. Serve with Love Interdependently
6. Reign in life by receiving: ABUNDANCE OF
GRACE & THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
7. Pray in faith and bring Heaven down to Earth
8.
DWELL IN GOD’S WORD
AND CHANGE YOUR WORLD!
3. (NKJV) Let the word of
Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom, teaching and admonishing one
another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in
your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatever you do in word or
deed, do all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father
through Him.
Colossians 3:16
4. The Four Soils (Matthew 13:1-23; Mark 4:1-20; Luke 8:1-15)
Mat 13:3 He used parables to tell them
many things. "Once there was a man who
went out to sow grain.
Mat 13:4 As he scattered the seed in the
field, some of it fell along the path, and the
birds came and ate it up.
Mat 13:5 Some of it fell on rocky ground,
where there was little soil. The seeds soon
sprouted, because the soil wasn't deep.
5. Mat 13:6 But when the sun came up, it
burned the young plants; and because the
roots had not grown deep enough, the plants
soon dried up.
Mat 13:7 Some of the seed fell among thorn
bushes, which grew up and choked the
plants.
Mat 13:8 But some seeds fell in good soil,
and the plants bore grain: some had one
hundred grains, others sixty, and others
thirty."
6. Mat 13:14 So the prophecy of Isaiah applies to
them: 'This people will listen and listen, but not
understand; they will look and look, but not see,
Mat 13:15 because their minds are dull, and they
have stopped up their ears and have closed their
eyes. Otherwise, their eyes would see, their ears
would hear, their minds would understand, and
they would turn to me, says God, and I would heal
them.'
Mat 13:16 "As for you, how fortunate you
are! Your eyes see and your ears hear.
8. Mat 13:17 I assure you that many
prophets and many of God's people
wanted very much to see what you see,
but they could not, and to hear what
you hear, but they did not.
Mat 13:18 "Listen, then, and learn what
the parable of the sower means.
9. Mat 13:19 Those who hear the
message about the Kingdom but do not
understand it are like the seeds that fell
along the path. The Evil One comes and

10. Mat 13:21 But it does not sink deep
into them, and they don't last long. So
when trouble or persecution comes
because of the message, they give up at
once.
Mat 13:22 The seeds that fell among
thorn bushes stand for those who hear
the message; but the worries about this
life and the love for riches choke the
message, and they don't bear fruit.
11. Mat 13:23 And the seeds sown in
the good soil stand for those who
hear the message and understand
it: they bear fruit, some as much as
one hundred, others sixty, and
others thirty."
12. Mark 4:26 Jesus went on to say,
"The Kingdom of God is like this. A
man scatters seed in his field.
Mar 4:27 He sleeps at night, is up
and about during the day, and all
the while the seeds are sprouting
and growing. Yet he does not know
how it happens.
13. Mark 4:28 The soil itself makes the
plants grow and bear fruit; first the
tender stalk appears, then the head,
and finally the head full of grain.
Mar 4:29 When the grain is ripe,
the man starts cutting it with his
sickle, because harvest time has
come.
