The social media-based learning center was successful, particularly the options to ask teachers and entrepreneurs for help. Providing tools and guidance throughout the business creation process helped reduce uncertainty. However, some had concerns about experts, peers, or teachers stealing their ideas or being unwilling to help. Meeting face-to-face may generate more trust and willingness to share ideas. The legal information was valuable since getting a student or work visa is very difficult, but the prototype needs refinement as it seemed boring and participants were skeptical of their chances abroad. Advice from successful Venezuelans and a directory of Venezuelan companies abroad could help.

2. What Worked
-The social media based learning center was a
success. Specially the option of asking teachers
and successful entrepreneurs
- Provide tools and make a follow up of all the
stages of creating a new business help to
diminish the uncertainty
What could be improved
- There are some concerns about the willingness
to help and the chances that ideas may be stolen
by experts, peers or teachers.
-Sounds to good to be true
Questions
- Will these persons realy help me?
-Will they steal my ideas?
-How will the social media learning center help?
Will their attention be 24/7? Can I meet them
face to face?
Ideas
- meeting face to face the learning center team
may generate higher levels of trust and
willingness to share.
- Meeting with other professional, hearing their
ideas may be an inspiration in other fields.
-Conferences and seminars!!
3. Reflection
• Prototype 1 had a warm reception, generated excitement
and is considered a great tool to cope with anxiety and
uncertainty usually attached to create a new business.
• At first sight, ROI seems complicated, specially considering
that entrepreneurs are young graduates who lacks of
money.
• Trust issues are a common place, specially in a country like
Venezuela. Attaching success to ROI may secure an honest
relationship
• Overall lack of information and guide is the main concern
among this population, they appreciate help from someone
who knows about their professional career and also of
entrepreneurship.

5. What Worked
- The legal part is very important. Everyone in
Venezuela knows that is very difficult to apply to
universities in Spain or USA, and that is specially
complicated to get a student or work visa for most
countries.
- Webinars & Open job postings are well received.
What could be improved
- This idea needs to be re worked. At first test
seems too boring for this kind of population.
- Participant is particularly skeptic about his
chances in other countries, however feels that
this way may be the only way.
Questions
- Participant wonders why this team would be
available for him… it will not be free for sure.
My own question is similar, how to make this
prototype profitable? Maybe the headhunter
part, o r the academic part. However is not the
spirit to transform the website in a postgraduate
studies directory.
Ideas
- main suggestion is to include successful
Venezuelans in the teams to learn from their
experience.
- Also create a directory of Venezuelan companies
abroad in order to create networking with them.
6. Reflection
• Prototype 2 was not as successful as P1. Is not perceived as
exciting which affect the probability of use of this product.
Main concerns is related to cost and effectiveness.
• At the same time, how to make this idea profitable is a
tough challenge. Specially if the focus is not to sell master
programs.
• On the bright side, legal advisory would be well received, as
it might be considered as one of the most important
obstacles (visa concerns but also access to foreign
currencies that are controlled by the government)
• Overall, P2 needs to be polished. Sounds to good to be
true, but also what is good is far from exciting
