• u + v = v + u (Commutative law for addition).
• u ∙ v = v ∙ u (Commutative law for multiplication).
• (u + v) + z = u + (v + z) (Associative law for addition)
• (u . v) z = x(y . z) (Associative law for multiplication)
• x(v + z) = x . v + x . z (Distributive law).
Conjugate of a Complex Numbers
The complex conjugate simply by changing the sign of the imaginary part of the
complex number. To find the complex conjugate of 4+7i we change the sign of the
imaginary part.
