What is good posture?
Posture is the position
of the body when
standing, walking, and
sitting.
Having good posture means that:
Your bones and joints are in
line so that muscles can be used
properly.
You don't get tired as quickly.
You don't get pain in your
back or other muscles.
You look good!
To have good posture,
you will need:
To be able to move freely
To be aware of your
posture and work to improve
it.
Regular exercise like
running, walking, cycling and
playing different sports will
help to keep your back
strong.

1. Occupy the whole seat
2. Head and back aligned
3. Feet flat on the floor
4. Knees together

1. Hold your head up
and chin in, look straight ahead

4. Stomach in

1. Head and back are aligned
2. Chin up
3. Arms swinging while
taking steps forward
or to any direction
1. Keep your body upright and your chin up.
•Running
1. Keep your body upright
and your chin up.
2.Try not to look down on
the ground. Look forward.
3. Your back should be
straight.
4. Keep your arms close to
the body and swing them
freely with your elbows
slightly bent..
5. When running fast, keep
your body inclined forward,
but not arched or rounded.
