Pronouns must agree in number with the nouns they replace. For antecedents joined by "and", use a plural pronoun, while for those joined by "or" or "nor", match the pronoun with the closest noun. Singular pronouns are used with words ending in -one, -body, -thing as well as with collective nouns if they cannot be made plural, and plural pronouns are used if the collective noun can be made plural.
