“Aurel Popp” Art High School
   has its name from the Romanian painter
    who was born in Căuaş, Satu Mare:
           Aurel Popp (1879-1960)

 is situated in Satu Mare, a town from

 is the only art high school from the

buildings

“Aurel Popp” Art High School was set up in
1969
 Ithas two teaching sections: Romanian
  and Hungarian
 There are 546 students and 113 teachers
 There are 4 sections where students can
  study:
- fine arts: painting, graphics, photo-video etc.
- music: canto, piano, flute, drums, guitar etc.
- architecture
- choreography: classic dance
There is a school choir and a school
orchestra. There are 30 classes.
10  primary classes:
  music and fine arts
8 secondary classes:
 music, fine arts and

12 high school
 classes:
  music, fine arts and
 architecture
High school students have an average
number of 20 subjects
                     Except  their ‘specialized’
                      subjects, all students

                      Geography, P.E. ,
                      History, Computer
                      Technology etc.
