ABSTRACT
Our project is a website which is an online grocery store. The Internet has made all of our lives
easier. You can do almost anything online anymore, including purchasing your groceries. A lot
of people have actually come to prefer buying their groceries online today. This website allows
users to buy groceries online which are needed in day to day life. This includes fruits,
vegetables, pulses, breads etc. This is a user friendly website in which customer can view the
item and price of the item it is buying. Whenever you purchase your groceries online you will
be able to shop any time of the day or night, at your own convenience, regardless of what the
weather outside may be, and still get everything that you need and want.

CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION
Online grocery shopping is a form of electronic commerce where the buyer is directly
online to the seller's computer usually via the internet. There is no intermediary service.
The sale and purchase transaction is completed electronically and interactively in real-
time such as Amazon.com for new books. If an intermediary is present, then the sale
and purchase transaction is called electronic commerce such as eBay.com .It also
include recipes page along with various quizzes to increase one’s knowledge. So
customer can easily shop according to the need of different recipes. It is time-saving
and efficient.
Big cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore have online shopping site and its
quite famous there like bigbasket.com and toptomato.com but here in north-India this
idea still don’t exist.
CHAPTER 2

OBJECTIVE
The main objective of this project is to make easy for working women of today’s world. The
whole kitchen ingredients, Recipes classified in different regions, Want a fresh idea for your
next meal..? Find a recipe here. Inspire your kitchen creativity with our delicious recipes..!
Impress your guests with our latest recipes. At MMK you will find Recipes with the perfect
combination of flavor and health. Numerous varieties of recipes for every occasion and
mood. The delicious n fresh recipes with the feel of mom made food. Quick and easy recipes
for people new at kitchen. This site has a collection of cooking experiments and the recipes
that have been passed on to me by my family and friends. Some recipes are illustrated in the
traditional way while others are modified taking into consideration the busy lifestyle and
health issues. The presentation and explanation may not be very professional but definitely
simple to understand. First and foremost, I thank God for bestowing me with the wisdom to
create this website and all the recipes. I hope these recipes will surely help to improve your
cooking. A person with lot of information is a knowledgeable man. But a wise man puts the

CHAPTER 4
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
The development of this new system contains the following activities, which try to develop on-
line application by keeping the entire process in the view of database integration approach.
 Secure registration and profile management facilities for Customers.
 Browsing through the e-Mall to see the items that are there in each category of food
items.
 Creating a Shopping cart so that customer can Shoppe ‘n’ no. of items and checkout
finally with the entire shopping cart
 Customers should be able to mail the Shop about the items they would like to see in the
Shop
 Secured mechanism for checking out from the Shop (Credit card verification
mechanism).
 Customers can look for new recipes and shop according to the recipes.
 One can play quizzes and increase their knowledge about food and recipes.
 One can look at different ideas on how to lose weight and other interesting pages related
to food.
CHAPTER 5

SYSTEM SPECIFICATION AND DESIGN
Introduction
Analysis is the focus of system developing and is the stage when system designers have to
work at two levels of definition regarding the study of situational issues and possible solutions
in terms of “what to do” and “how to do”.
This is an online grocery store and a recipe store combination in which customer can either
shop according to need for various kitchen items like pulses, grains, cereals or vegetables by
need or by reading any recipe on site and shopping according to the need of recipe you want
to try.
One can even get ideas on how to lose weight or fast-food or not or all about the taste of
Asia. One can even play various food quizzes and increase their knowledge about food or
their favorite recipes
All this comes in our project altogether.

The most of the work we have done with this site is on its BEAUTIFICATION to make it
more interactive. Coin Slider, Interactive Colors, Best Aligning in Headers & Footers,
Favicons on each webpage, and playing Bollywood Songs along site. Websites without
interaction is useless. So, it took too much time to understand and implement different types
of interactions in the project.
Because in this time (year of 2K’s),
Another level of extension is the Recipe Quizzes, it’s an idea that changes our project.
Extremely powerful in terms of interaction and learning. No need to say anything further
about it, Just Play & Enjoy..!

FUTURE SCOPE
MOMMADE KITCHEN have very bright scope in future as today as the technology is
developing everyone is getting attracted towards online shopping. Everyone do online
shopping nowadays.
One can easily shop for clothes, mobiles, etc. Things online easily but there are no online
grocery stores or vegetable stores in North India at all. So this project introduces this in our
own North India.
