This document summarizes a study on the biochemical profiling and biological activity of wild Cymbopogon species. It aims to explore two species - C. martini and C. citratus, study the phytochemicals and biological activities of their crude extracts, including antioxidant and antibacterial properties. Methodology includes collection of plant materials, preparation of extracts, phytochemical analysis using TLC and GC-MS, and evaluation of antioxidant activity through DPPH assay, reducing power and nitric oxide scavenging assays. Antimicrobial activity will also be tested.
