This document provides information on the urban morphology and architectural styles of Site A located on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia across three time periods: 1895-1962, 1962-2016, and 2016 onward. It discusses how the river and surrounding development has changed over time, with a focus on transportation links, plot development, and building styles. It also provides details on landmarks, activity nodes, traffic patterns, environmental conditions, and opportunities and constraints for the site.

The Klang River will be cleaned and repurposed,
making it a mode of transportation for boats. This
would also allow for tourist attraction with boats
as props.

The clean river could also be a spot for users and

providing a garden that relaxes the eyes from the
concrete jungle.

this would allow people to teach and learn on
basics of fishing, making it a tourist attraction and

the look, now that the river is taking part into the
concept of the building.

Educators would also benefit as they could
introduce the people more about Malaysia.

DESIGN CONSIDERATION
Now that the river is in the design consideration,
it would be an eco-friendly concept. This would
refresh the look of the city, as well as sustain the
building and the context.

KLPAC
KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performance Art Centre) is located in Sentul and it is a retrofitted building that built
over an old railway depot. Its context is near Sentul Park and the building merges with some part of the
lake.

It has 2 theatres and 4 storeys, the building does not
have distinctive architecture style.
Vegetation
As the site was a golf course, the view is open and clear.
There are garden where various plants planted for
pleasant view.

Glass and concrete structures makes the building
transparent and lets user focuses on surrounding
context.
Multiple Spaces
Open spaces inside the building allow user to breath,
and feel the spacious of the building. There are classes,
multipurpose halls, cafeteria and auditorium.

Users can freely pass from building to building with the
steel bridge that connects the museum and the dock.

The museum is designed surrounding the concept of ‘walking building’ featuring
spaces that allows user to view multiple view and changes of scenery.
The construction and plans of the building submerge with nature of the land, which
is the river and the existing landscape across the river.

Centro Botin Art Gallery stands on dock, elevated in Santander located in Spain. It is situated on
a landmark waterfront site, with a large park surrounding context.
