These dimensions play a crucial role in conveying manufacturing

and displayed in 3D space on an annotation plane. Therefore, you must
carefully consider the annotation plane when you create PMI dimensions.
MBD :
PMI annotations are a fundamental component of the Model-Based Definition
(MBD) approach, where 3D models serve as the primary source of
information for manufacturing, inspection, and other downstream processes.
PMI Advisory :
PMI Advisor to check the validity of manufacturing PMI, such as GD&T and
dimensional tolerances, against a set of configurable rules representing
industry and company annotation standards. You can check the syntax and
semantics of PMI while authoring it, or at any time after the PMI is added to
your model.
Technical Data Package :
A technical data package is a single container comprised of a collection of one
or more documents that include all of the information needed to completely
define a product and its requirements. Generally, this is a combination of 3D
data, metadata, and PMI, but it can also contain additional information
necessary for the proper manufacture of a part or product.
