PGS Prevention Monthly Connect 
AMH Update 
• The 2015 PG Awareness calendars are in the mail to you all. 
• OHT 2013 Cross Tabulated Data- should have the data by next week from 
Public Health. Tentative distribution to county the week of November 17th. 
• SWS 2014 Cross Tabulated Data – Will tentatively be available the week of 
December 7th for distribution to counties. 
• Brainstorm time – Potential one time funding (mini-grant) opportunities 
for projects. Please think about any projects you would like to implement 
with one time funding, Coordinators can send any projects ideas for 
review you would like to implement with “one time funding.” Ball park 
estimate of $5,000 available per mini-grant. More information to come 
once the budget is finalized.

AMH Update Continued: 
• PGS Work Plan – opportunity for small group interviews. If you are

interested (and we hope you are!) let Roxann know. If you haven’t 
already completed the stakeholder survey regarding the PGS Work Plan 
please do so. The survey will be emailed out again on Monday 
(11/10/14) for those of you that missed it. Nancy Martin shared that she 
had participated in the process and found it beneficial and encouraged 
others to do the same. 
• OWITS – Need to explore what PG outcome indicators we will include 
on database, so be thinking about what you would like to see and send 
any suggestions to Roxann.

•Brianne Mares successfully completed her CPS exam. 
Congratulations Brianne! 
•National Problem Gambling Conference request for presentations. 
Roxann will send out information to everyone, and Julie will post 
information on the PG Prevention Website. 
•Request for any thoughts or suggestions for prevention activities with 
the developmentally disabled population. 
•Programs gearing up for art search and working with the schools.
