printed on paper and circulated as physical copies in
forms we call books, newspaper, magazine and
newsletters.
They hold information and entertaining content that is of
general or special interest.
It is a process of text and images, typically with ink on
paper using a printing press.
PRINT MEDIA IN INDIA
 Printing technology came to India in 1556 By Jesuit Priests
 The first newspaper was published in India in 1780
 The first Book was printed in India in Portuguese language in old
Goa. It was doctrina christa By St. Francis Xavier
 The first printing press was established in Mumbai in 1674, second
in Madras and third in Calcutta in 1779

Brochure give detailed information about the product.
These are mainly distributed at events or even at the main outlet when

Posters are form s of outdoor advertising. The message in a poster has
to be brief and eye catching as it a person on the move .
ADVANTAGE OF PRINT MEDIA
 Target loyal readership. This can be very useful for advertisers as
compared to advertising on the internet.

with ease trough print media. For example- A local newspaper
would be a best medium to advertise about a new shopping
complex.

competitors.
