2. What’s the impact: “Hour of Code”
WHAT IS IT?
WHAT ARETHE PURPOSES BEHINDTHE INITTIAVES?
HOW DID IT START?
- Code.org was started as a nonprofit in the year 2014.
- Hour of Code is proud to announce that they have reached 15% of all student in the
world through this program.
- The Hour of Code was created to allow an environment for student of all ages (K-12) to
learn new skills of programming.
- This program helps to break stereotypes of computer science all together. Computer
Science is not only for a set group of students but for any and all students.

3. LEVEL 10:
FLAPPY
BIRD GAME
Creating this Flappy Code was so much fun. I
wanted to make a game that was unique but also eye
catching.This was the reasoning for me choosing the
scene of Sci-Fi and the laser obstacle. I loved the colors
that these two aspects brought to the game. I also
wanted to make the sound effects different and in a
sense comical for the game player.
