They have provided tents, blankets, food and water to thousands and are focusing on remote mountain villages that have received little assistance. Factory farmed animals often travel long distances in confined spaces that are too small, causing health issues. While regulations say animals can be in transport for 28 hours, there are no limits on how many animals can be in a vehicle. As a result, many pigs and cows are packed too tightly, and over 1 million pigs die each year from conditions like heat, suffocation, or injuries during transport.

Members participate in service projects that address local and global humanitarian needs through the five avenues of service: club, vocational, community, international, and new generations service. For the past four years, he has held membership in the Key Club. Through this organization, he has assisted with a diverse range of service projects from car wash fundraisers to electronics recycling. Cody Saltsman had served as a senior representative for the Key Club.

Members from around the world will join in a variety of activities demonstrating the Key Club's dedication to service. As part of the celebration of this week, the Key Club encourages members to thank any supporters they know and to invite friends to join them.
