DRESS DOWN FOR DOWN SYNDROM
Peoples Bank & Trust raises money for Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis.
Troy, MO, June 1, 2015– Peoples Bank & Trust hosted a Dress Down Day May 22, 2015, which
raised a total of $450 for The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis. The charity was
chosen from a pool of charities presented by the Employees.
Every Month the Employees of Peoples Bank &Trust host a Dress Down Day. On these
days, all the bank employees from Teller to the president can choose to wear tennis shoes and
jeans as long as they pay five dollars. After the money is collected a charity is chosen from a list
and that charity is given the money from that Dress Down Day. This latest Dress Down Day
raised $450 dollars for The Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis; whose mission
statement (DSAGSL.org) is “to benefit the lives of people with Down syndrome and their
families through individual and family support, education, public awareness and advocacy.”
Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis supplies such things as education,
support, and community events for people with down syndrome and their families. Peoples Bank
& Trust has donated $450 to this great cause on [insert Date that money was donated].
