- 1. Because the couple are videoing them selves it makes the film look more realistic because that is something people actually do.
- 2. The image of the church shows that this film has some religious connotations and maybe in my film I can use the same meaning because horror films with religious connotations are usually very popular.
- 3. This POV shot is often used in horror films because it makes the audience feel like there in the film and increases the scary aspect of the film because it feels more real.
- 4. This shot is particularly important because the two characters holding hands shows that there is maybe a spiritual act going on. This is a common theme of horror film.
- 5. This shot is important because most trailers have a shot of something which starts of a chain of events.
- 6. This long shot from behind the tree makes it look like that she is being watched from behind the tree which already creates the negative atmosphere.
- 7. • This has helped me understand that I need to use specific shots for specific genres and plots because some types of shots fit better with certain genres and I will need to understand this if I am going to succeed in making a good horror trailer.
