2. Junior - We need to talk about Kevin
(2011)
Our main protagonist Junior in our opening sequence is very similar to the
character Kevin. Kevin and Junior are both in their mid-teens roughly
around 16/17 therefore they can relate to each other. Throughout the film
'We need to talk about Kevin" Kevin is a victim of bullying by the other
pupils, which then causes a major downfall in the film, similar to our
opening sequence too
3. Junior - The Elephant (2003)
Another character similar to our protagonist in our opening sequence is
Alex in "The Elephant".Throughout, "The Elephant" Alex plots a massacre
on school-mates due to being a victim of severe bullying both physical
and verbal, which again is similar to our protagonist and plot. Both
characters share the same intentions and characteristics as Alex is very
eager as well as Junior to achieve their aims in the film. On the other hand,
Junior is more mysterious and shy in some cases, whereas Alex is more
confronting and reckless as opposed to Junior
4. Evaluation
This evaluation has allowed me to gain a greater knowledge on what
characters are suited and needed within thriller films, as well as the
different conventions of particular thriller characters in specific films
