2. SUMMARY:
Ishaan Awasthi is an eight-year old whose world
is filled with wonders that no one else seems to appreciate;
colors,fish, dogs and kites are just not important in the world of
adults, who are much more interested in things like homework,
marks and neatness. And, Ishaan just cannot seem to get anything
right in class. When he gets into far more trouble than his parents
can handle, he is packed off to a boarding school to "be disciplined"
Things are no different at his new school, and Ishaan has to contend
with the added trauma of separation from his family.
One day a new art teacher bursts onto the
scene, Ram Shankar Nikumbh,who infects the students with joy and
optimism. He breaks all the rules of "how things are done" by asking
them to think, dream and imagine, and all the children respond with
enthusiasm, all except Ishaan. Nikumbh soon realizes that Ishaan is
very unhappy, and he sets out to discover why. With time, patience
and care, he ultimately helps Ishaan find himself.

3. •Darsheel Safary's initial screentest lacked dialogue. When Aamir
Khan saw the expression in his eyes and face, however, he
instantly knew, "That's the child. He is Ishaan."
•Darsheel Safary as Ishaan Nandkishore Awasthi: In looking for an
actor to play the central figure of Ishaan, writer Amole Gupte turned
to Shiamak Davar's Summer Funk workshops. Gupte had several
boys informally audition by explaining to him how they would react
to scripted situations from the film. Of his decision to cast Darsheel
Safary, Gupte recalls that "it was a tough call. But Darsheel has the
mischief in his eyes to be Ishaan. Everyone just naturally gravitated
towards him."
•Aamir Khan as Ram Shankar Nikumbh ("Nikumbh Sir"): Gupte,
who based the character on his art teacher Ramdas Sampat

5. GOOD MORALS
The moral lesson that I can get with this movie is that as a
person be responsible in handling a little kids. Enhance their skills
and value their existence in life. Educate and let them understand
how hard life would be. And above all give them the security that no
one could hurt them as long as you’ve valued each other. The
movie is very encouraging and informative. It taught us to be
nonjudgmental to children’s behavior and even to other people’s
behavior, because everything happens for a reason. Some may
say that life is unfair, that’s what the child in the story would also
say until he met someone with a very caring heart.
For teachers, it teaches us to consider and understand the
individual differences of our learners.

6. INSIGHTS
Special children can also play, has a talent, and has
perspective in life but special children needs to have more attention
and extra help to develop their social skills. Unlike with the normal
kids they can easily gain friends and understand everything but
special child need guidance in their learning and it is difficult to
them to mingle other people. Also need to be understood especially
those people who really surrounded them Every one of us has a
right in this society so they also have the right because they are
belong on it.
They have the right to choose whoever they want to
become and whatever they want to be in life as long as we guide
them and give them our attention. They must be respected also
even though they have disabilities. Their happiness and joy is the
most important in their life.

7. Being a teacher I must know and understands student’s
needs, how they are motivated, and how they learn. I should be a
motivator, counselor, inspiration, and a facilitator rather than a
direction. I must always prepared of different strategies and
techniques in teaching my students by that we can produce a good
product and I can also tell that I’m one of the professor who helped
that child to gain his or her dreams. I should help the learner find
their own ways of learning.
As a teacher I need to have a positive attitudes and outside
interest which helps develop a well-rounded personality. We must
help our students even if he or she is a special child because they
need our help to become better. You should also think that being a
teacher is just not the money we get but to help children who are
willing to learn, willing to participate and to help them learn what is
real life all about, they need our guidance to pursue their dreams.

8. We should also monitor the way we teach because
sometimes we teacher already mistaken on how to teach children.
We should also consider the feelings of our students we need to
have collaboration with them to have a managed class. For me in
handling a class is not easy because they are different
characteristics of a child which we need to be more observant on
that so that we can see who is really needed our help. By doing
like that it will be easier for us to handle the class and it will be
easier to the student to adjust the environment and to adjust the
way we teach them because students already know that we will
be doing our best to make them feel comfortable when they are
learning and they already trusted us.
If I will be given a chance to teach a special child I would
be having a positive outlook and encouraging attitudes in order for
them to be inspired despite of their disabilities also I should be
open minded always and flexible to anything because special
child their mood is always changing.
