advertise, we know this because ‘Ribena’ is a product
which is being praised by just 5 words, “Put some fizz

target audience into going out and buying the product.

• The product appears as though it has been
tipped over and has been spilled. To gain this
effect, the photographer used a fast shutter
speed to capture the drink falling and spilling
out.
•The slogan “Put some fizz into your day” is
placed on the bottom right corner in a red colour
which matches the colour of the product.
• underneath the slogan “Your daily dose of
vitamin C” is written in a green colour, both
colours used represent the Ribena bottle.

of excitement, this image gives you
the sense that the drink is explosive
with taste, fizzy and refreshing. It
also appears to resemble
Champaign, the bubbles are easy to
recognise and a cork screw is used as
the top of the bottle, which appears
to have been popped off.

style and comfort. You get this sense
from the Christmassy feel which the
advert gives you – for instance, the

be blurred but it gives you the feeling
of comfort and home, the table setting
also gives you the feel of comfort but

and tidy.
