This presentation introduces Li-Fi technology, which uses visible light communication to transmit data wirelessly. It was invented in 2011 by Harald Haas. Li-Fi works by varying the intensity of LED lights rapidly on and off to transmit digital signals. Compared to Wi-Fi, Li-Fi provides higher speeds, has unlimited bandwidth, and is more secure as light cannot pass through walls. The presentation outlines how Li-Fi works and its advantages over radio-wave communication, such as its availability in places where Wi-Fi cannot be used.
