- 1. PRESENTATION IN SCHOOLS Implemented using the SAMR framework
- 3. SUBSTITUTION • A science teachers presents a slideshow to their class which uses text and images to communicate how a frog evolves. The same task can be completed by the students reading from their text book, but the text book is substituted by the presentation
- 4. AUGMENTATION • The PowerPoint presentation now includes animations of the development of a frogs evolution. In addition to this, audio tracks on each slide narrate the process as opposed to students having to read the explanation.
- 5. MODIFICATION • Science students are required to collaborate in groups of four to create a slideshow presentation which will be delivered to the class on a specified topic. The PowerPoint must include audio, video, and graphical representations of data such as tables and graphs.
- 6. REDEFINITION • Students are required to create a slideshow presentation which discusses the recycling process from different areas around the world. Students are required to interview people from around the world to formulate their responses, and will include this in the presentation in the form of audio or video. Students must create statistical data in an excel spreadsheet and include the information in the presentation. The final product will be converted to a video file and embedded on the school private YouTube account for other students to view and comment
