The conveyor often need in industry
The conveyor can sorted things with
recognition the shape pattern and
colour
Webcam is used to be sensor in digital
image processing, to recognize the
shape pattern and colour
So, with the digital image processing
using matlab, the conveyor can sorting
better.
Research Purpose
To make a conveyor prototype
which can sorting things, based on
pattern shape and colour with
webcam sensor.
Advantage of Research
1. To be one of solution in factories world,
especially on a conveyor sistem which can
recognize shape pattern and the colour
desired.
2. Can be used for further research.
3. To know pattern recognition techniques
using camera sensor, which can be used
more widely for the further research.
Problem
1. How to design a conveyor which can recognize shape
pattern and colour of a things?
2. How to use webcam camera sensor Logitech c110 as a
sensing device which used as a device to recognition
pattern and shape?
3. How to use webcam camera sensor logitech c11o as a
sensing device which used as a device to recognition
colour?
Scope of Problem
1. The Shape Pattern which can recognized are round
pattern, oval pattern and neither round or oval with the
surface is black.
2. The patternof colour which can recognized is the
primary colour like red, yellow, green.
3. The sensor which used are webcam logitech c110 as a
sensing device
4. ATMEGA 8535 as a main control of the conveyor
5. The software which used for recognition pattern shape
is Matlab r2011a
Hypotesis
With using a webcam logitech c110 the
conveyor can sorting things based on pattern
shape recognition and colour recognition
desired.

1. Designing
System could recognize the object desired, so it can be given the
appropriate treatment which desired. Ex. To recognized round
pattern, the conveyor will only passed the object which have
round shape, if the object have the other pattern it’ll
automatically wasted.
System Designing
This device using image
processing principles
which the things that
coming through will be
caught with webca, then
being processed using
image processing on the
doagram, so it possibly
given the right treatment
to every things with shape
and colour detected.
Hardware Designing
In this system, used microcontroller as a main
control of the conveyor, conveyor hand, power
supply, and drive relay for the conveyor.
Result
The result of this research, is that this device could recognize
colour and shape pattern as well.
