PRESENT SIMPLE
        Uses
 Habits or regular activities and situations: I get up at seven / She works as a
                waitress
 Acts or attitudes that are generally or always true: Samuel likes riding his
motorbike/ Life isn`t easy for young people
 We don’t use it to talk about things that are in progress now, which are
temporary: It rains now It’s raining now
        Affirmative/positive forms
 We use the form as the infinitive (without to) in all persons except for the 3rd
                person singular.
 With verbs that end in –o, -sh, -ch or –ss, we add –es instead of –s in the third
person singular: She kisses/ He watches/ He washes/It goes
 Verbs that end in –y:
                a) Consonant + y > -i es:hurries (hurry)/ flies (fly)
                b) Vowel+y>ys: plays(play) /says (say)

        Negative and questionsforms
 To form the negative we use don’t (do not) for all persons except for the 3rd
                person singular.
 In the third person singular we use doesn’t (does not). We don’t add –s to
                the verb that follows doesn’t:
We don’t like Chinese She doesn’t likes Chinese
                food food
                She doesn´t like Chinese
                food

 To form questions we use do /does + subject+ infinitive without to:
Do you like ice-cream? Do we wake up early?
Does it look interesting? Does she love shopping?
