This document discusses digital identity and the teacher's role in the 21st century classroom. It explores how digital technologies and social media have become extensions of people's identities. Today's students, known as Generation Z, have digital DNA and are always connected via social media and online games. The document examines different approaches teachers can take to incorporate information and communication technologies (ICT) into their teaching, including technical, cognitive, and critical approaches. It argues that by helping learning happen anywhere and at any time, and by developing students' self-learning competences, teachers can create sustainable ecosystems of learning and take on the role of learning designer.
