The author began their media course having never used Premiere Pro before. For their preliminary task, they only knew the basics of cutting clips and adding a title. They used this initial task to become comfortable with the software. For their final piece, the editing took the longest as they incorporated more effects, sounds, and colors. They went through multiple drafts and revisions as they aimed to make their final piece the best it could be. Comparing the preliminary task to the final piece, the author's Premiere Pro skills had increased greatly and they were now able to produce a much more professional and higher quality edit.
