2. RESTING
Animals are kept in rest for 24 hours.
Reason of resting :-
Blood pressure level gets normal.
Heart beat gets normal.

3. FASTING
In this process food are not provided.
Fasting should be done 12 hours before
slaughter.
Reason of fasting:-
Its helps to Lower the glouse level.
Stomach becomes clear.
Latic acid which causes the hardness in
the meat is reduced.

4. WASHING
Done with luke warm water &
disinfectant.
Reason of washing:-
To clean the outer skin and to remove
the bacteria.

5. STUNNING
It is done by either electric shock,
rubberbullet or Wooden hammer.
Above mentioned process does not
cause pain to the animal and helps to
lowers the heartbeat.

6. STICKING
Used to remove the head by using
a sharp knife & blade.

7. BLEEDING
In this process animal is hanged so the
extra blood is removed from the body.

8. SKINNING
In this process skin is removed.
Offals(internal organs) are also
removed.

9. HANGING
Are usually done to eliminate the rigor
mortis under control temperature .
It is hanged until the rigor mortis are
completely eliminated.

10. CUTTING
Final process of meat slaughtering in
which meat are cut in quarters.
