Phase 1: As a member of the Corporate HR team, I supervised and assisted the Deputy General Manager for
the successful Statutory Compliance Operations, which includes 24 States; 105 Locations; and all Employee
Categories...
Phase 2: Successful running of the entire Compliance process starts from joining formalities till employee exit
from the system.
Phase 3: Statutory Compliance (Pan India) -CL (R&A) Act-1970
 Primarily responsible for statutory compliance under various labour laws for Eg: Contract labour act,
Shops & establishment act, PF, ESI etc. across locations & entities.
 Directly involving in handling the PF & ESI (Like Submission, every month Returns, Half Yearly
returns, Yearly Returns) with Govt Dept.
 Administer Query resolution related to payroll, PF, ESIC and full and final settlements.
 Processing & preparing the statutory forms under CLRA Act, S & E Acts, Bonus Act, and Gratuity Act.
 Ensure to maintain statutory compliance related records on various provisions under all Labour laws.
 Finalizing of external & Internal Audits under Labour Law, CLRA Act & S&E Acts, Bonus Act, Gratuity
Act, and Minimum wages act, to ensure that no surprises occur at the time of any audits at pan India
level till now 30 inspections and audit conducted under the various act.
 Issuing FORM V (Principal Employer Certificate) for an eligible contractor under CLRA Act.
 Principal Employer company registration under CLRA Act & S&E Act and their amendment process.
 Coordinating with Pan India vendor for timely submission of all the statutory for making Principal
Employer complied.
 Online principle employer registration (RC) (Amendment and Renewal) for applicable state. Under
CLRA Act & S&E Acts.
 Acquiring various licenses/exemptions from labour office from time to time.
 Handle all disputes and grievances related to Vendor Management.
 Meeting with Labour officers for various labour requirements to ensure compliance with various labour
acts and any audit thereof.
 Categorization of the vendor on the basis of Work Order /Agreement issued Like Exclusive, Non-
Exclusive, AMC, professional charges. The basis of categorization, validation of statutory compliance
documents.
 Preparing & releasing various reports/MIS from time to time & as and when requested.
 Taking charge of legal/escalations related to employee/ Vendor and ensure satisfactory closure of the
same.
Payroll Processing for Manpower supply vendor (Pan India)
 Compile employee time, payroll data from time sheets and immediate Manager Record & Biometric
system.
 Complete time sheets showing employees' arrival and departure times.
 Generating & updating HRIS for new joiners & existing employees (personal details, family details,
educational details, health details, previous company details, pay structure for new joiners &
confirmation employees, promotions, increments, full & final settlements, Awards & Rewards,
Recovery & deduction.
 Developing and maintaining documentation and controls for payroll related activities and procedure
serving as main contact all payroll related issues.
 Processing complete end to end payroll process for 3000 employees for across India.
 Handling salary related issues/grievance.
 Process and issue and employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
 Keep informed about changes in tax and deduction laws that apply to the payroll process
 Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, benefit plans through
Help Desk after payroll proceed.
 Running of Trail Earnings and deductions after completion entire payroll and then processing for Final
Earnings and deduction.
 Handling of payroll related grievances and responsible for zero payroll grievance
 Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension
plans, and unemployment and medical insurance.
 Doing Full & Final Settlement for left employees
Employee Relations
 Visiting all operating units and conduct an audit of facilities being provided at the branch.
 Maintaining excellent relations with the vendor and employees across the levels
 Participating in conducting the employee welfare programs, picnics/birthday of above than Managers
level etc.
 Attending in a cross-functional meeting in once a month.
Training & Development
 Provide statutory compliance training through compliance PPT to new on boarded vendor on
call/skype or personal presentation. Give the awareness about principal employer compliance policy &
a new amendment in law.
 Awareness about other Joining formalities like Compliance onboarding, salary administration, payroll
etc
 Driving process improvements & aligning various existing processed.
 Determining Training needs & supervising programs to enhance efficiency in overall compliance
operations towards the accomplishment of overall corporate objectives.
 Preparing monthly/quarterly/ annual Training calendar.
 Formulating and periodically reviewing the methods for monitoring the effectiveness of training

Company Profile
Mahalaxmi TMT Pvt. Ltd. (Sangam Group of Industries) is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and
the latest technology, making the plant one of the best in India. This feature rich plant also ensured the MTPL
speedy growth from a relatively new player in the market to the quality steel manufacturers with the capacity
to produce 0.5 million ton Steel per annum.
MTPL is amongst the highest production plant of top quality re-enforcement bars (Sangam 500 TMX TMT),
ranging from diameter 8 mm to 40 mm from indigenous billets (ISI) made with Slit technology and Thermex
process. The rolling capacity of this plant is the most efficient due to its 70 Tons per hour pusher type
reheating furnace operated on producer gas. It is quenched by Thermex process [Quenching system from
Germany] on a 90-meter wide cooling bed and automated bundling facilities all under a single roof of
70m*300m area. Sangam 500 TMX TMT is made from pure steel, with the most advanced TMT technology
from state-of-the-art Thermex Technology plants of Mahalaxmi steel
