COURSE OBJECTIVES
 To introduce the concept of co-ordinate systems and vector field
 To describe static electric fields, their behavior in different media, boundary conditions and
electromagnetic potentials.

COURSE OUTCOMES
 Differentiate different types of coordinate systems and use them for solving the problems
of electromagnetic field theory.
 Interpret the concepts of static electric fields and apply boundary conditions on

COURSE OUTCOMES  Differentiate different types of coordinate systems and use them for solving the problems of electromagnetic field theory.  Interpret the concepts of static electric fields and apply boundary conditions on Electrostatic field.  Develop concepts of static magnetic fields and apply boundary conditions.  To use integral and point form of Maxwell`s equations for solving the problems of electromagnetic field theory .  Describe the propagation of electromagnetic waves, Poynting vector and theorem.
