Affective roles of ubiquitous learning in Malaysia Dr Koo Ah Choo (MMU)
UCOE conducts research on human development and learning through ubiquitous means. A recent project funded by the Ministry of Higher Education examines the affective roles of ubiquitous learning in improving patient-centered healthcare. The project involves two parts: 1) Assessing the needs of 87 caregivers of cancer patients through a survey. 2) Capturing the learning experiences of cancer survivors and retelling their stories through a multimedia website to support affective learning. The goal is to identify how ubiquitous technologies can empower patients and enhance their healthcare experience.
