3. QUEEN MELVS’ RULES
Be on time.
Be active in class.
Raise you hand if you want to ask.
Respect everyone in the class.
Avoid unnecessary noise.
Keep your language clean and appropriate.
Do your best.
6. GAME MECHANICS:
4 PICS 1 WORD
This game is an individual activity.
There will be 5 items given for the game. Each item is
equivalent to 1 ticket point for every correct answer.
There will be 4 pictures that will be projected on the
screen and the students will guess the word.
The first student to raise his/her hand will
automatically get the chance to tell in the class his/her
answer.
7. GAME MECHANICS:
4 PICS 1 WORD
The teacher will verify if the student’s answer is correct
or wrong.
If the answer is correct the student will receive a ticket
point but if his/her answer is wrong the reverse will
happen.
24. MEASURES OF POSITION
It give us a way to see where a certain data
point or value falls in a sample distribution.
It tell us whether a value is about the
average, or whether it is usually high or low.
It is used for qualitative data that falls on
some numerical scale.
26. QUARTILE
In descriptive statistics, the quartiles of
ranked data are the points that divide the
data into four equal groups, each group
comprising a quarter of the data.
28. FIRST
QUARTILE
SECOND
QUARTILE
THIRD
QUARTILE
The first quartile (𝑸𝟏) is the middle
value between the smallest value and
the median of the data set.
The second quartile ( 𝑸𝟐 ) is the
median of the data set.
The third quartile (𝑸𝟑) is the middle
value between the median and the
highest value of the data set.
34. PERCENTILE
The percentiles are the ninety-nine score points
that divide a distribution into one hundred equal
parts.
It is used to characterize values according to the
percentage below them.
For example, the first percentile (𝑃1) separates the
lowest 1% from the 99%, the second percentile
(𝑃2) separates the lowest 2% from the other 98%,
and so on.
37. GROUPED
DATA
UNGROUPED
DATA
grouped data means the data or
information given in the form of
class intervals such as 1 - 20, 21
– 40, and so on.
Ungrouped data is defined as
the data given as individual
points either values or numbers
such as 5, 13, 34, 20, 25, and so
on.
39. WHEEL OF FORTUNE:
MATHEMATICS EDITION
GAME MECHANICS:
The house will be divided into 3 groups.
The group participants have three options: spin the wheel and
call a consonant, buy a vowel for 500, or solve the puzzle. Each
consonant is worth the cash value of the wedge the wheel lands
on.
If the group participants missed the letter they will lose their
chance to win and automatically the next group will continue
guessing. After guessing the word one member of the group
will define the word to gain another 1000 points.
40. WHEEL OF FORTUNE:
MATHEMATICS EDITION
GAME MECHANICS:
The group that will earn the highest points will conclude the
winner.
Each member of the group will participate.
43. MEASURES OF POSITION
ASSIGNMENT
THINK ABOUT A SITUATION WHEREIN YOU CAN
APPLY MEASURES OF POSITION. WHAT ARE YOU
GOING TO DO IS CREATE A SHORT PRESENTATION
AND DISCUSS IT IN CLASS.
