Introduction:
 It is an internet based application.
 Used to automate the workflow of leave applications &
their approvals.
 Periodic crediting of leave is automated.

EXISTING SYSTEM:
 In existing system every college follows manual
procedure in which faculty should maintain a leave record
in a record book.
 At the end of each month office faculty will calculate
leaves of every faculty member which is a time taking
process and there are chances of losing records.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
 In proposed system chances of losing data is not possible
because data is maintained in the form of database.
 Every day leaves is updated in to database using a user
friendly GUI.
 This will reduce work of office faculty.
 This application is an online application which makes
more flexible to access information.

 Hardware requirement:
i. RAM : 1GB &above
ii. Hard disk : 50GB &above
iii. Processor : Intel i2 & above
 Software requirement:
i. Software : Visual studio 6 & above
ii. Front End : C#.NET with Asp.net
iii. Back End : My SqlServer
iv. OS : Windows 7& Windows XP

Admin Module:
 Among the entire modules this module is given more
permission.
 He can view & update information of all faculties.
 Admin can view information like faculty member’s
leave details, faculty details, notifications regarding
leave.
 He can print reports on daily or monthly basis.
Staff Module.
 In this module faculty will register their own
information, leave application and new notifications
about leave.
 Members should log in to their account and update
information. If there are any notifications related
 previous day it is displayed in the form of pop up.
Members should respond to that notification by
sending replay to higher authorities.
HOD Module
 In this module Head of the department will have
permissions to look after data of every faculty member
of their department.
 HOD can view data in the form of reports and get it in
the form of print out. Reports can be displayed based
on day, month.
 HOD can approve leave through this application and
he can view leaves information of every individual
faculty of department
Principal Module:
 Among the entire modules principle module is given
more permission. He can view information of all
faculties and take action based on the reports.
 Principle can view information like faculty member’s
leaves, notifications including Head of departments.
He can print reports on daily or monthly basis.
 In this module Leave approval and resignation are
included.
Advantages:
This system is developed for the automation of activities for
users of this system.
This system save time as well as work.
Immediate data process for salary processing.
There is very less chances of data loss.

Conclusion:
 This system uses user for maintain overall management of
leave.
 This defines thing that can be included in the project in
order to make it professional & have been not include due
to lack of the time.
