Google was founded in 1998 as a search engine called BackRub by Larry Page and Sergey Brin as a research project at Stanford University. It was later renamed Google, inspired by the mathematical term 'googol' meaning 1 followed by 100 zeros. Internet. Larry and Sergey later decided the name of their search

• Gmail is a free, advertising-supported email service developed by

• Gmail started as a limited beta release on April 1, 2004, and ended its
testing phase on July 7, 2009.

the service comes with 15 GB of free storage. Users can receive emails up
to 25 MB in size, including attachments, while they can send emails up to
