Teams generate blue sky ideas early and conduct thorough research including on blogs to understand technologies and how they arrived at ideas. Ideas are peer reviewed and teams are formed which may include ideas not originally proposed. By going through the whole process, teams are evaluated on later stages including artifacts, testing, and peer review. Development blogs are essential to show where ideas originated and ideas should not be immediately dismissed but must have a foundation in reality.
This document summarizes the findings of a survey of 155 companies that have adopted cloud applications and platforms. The key findings are: 1) Cloud adopters have a more positive view of cloud technology than evaluators and are more aggressive in their adoption plans, 2) Cloud adopters believe cloud services provide better costs and faster value than on-premises software, 3) Most cloud adopters plan to further migrate IT to the cloud in the next 3 years.
