village!
Family is specially important in Spain, we visit our
grandparents in the village every year. Agricultural
works are made.

It´s commemorated on the 21st March
Children plant trees in different places such as the
school´s garden, parks, and they sometimes go to a
nearby forest to seed native trees. Each child is in
charge of watering his/her tree.
17. Peace´s day
It´s commemorated on the 31st January
Children celebrate it in school, they prepare paper
doves which symbolise peace. They also prepare
balloons with messages inside, cookies, sing songs,
etc.

MATERIALS:
– Cardboard boxes
– 42 green plastic bottles
– 4 cardboard tubes
– Glue and scissors
STEP BY STEP:
– Cut 4 circles in the cardboard boxes each one smaller than others.
– Draw 17 hole all around the biggest circle; draw 12 in the next one; draw 8 in the next one;
and 5 in the last one.
- Place a bottle in each hole.
– Place the cardboard tube in the middle of each circle.
– Prepare a base for the tree using the remainder cardboard.
– Glue the first tube with the base and place the fist circle, the next circles upside.
– Prepare a cardboard star and place it at the top.

– Modelling clay of different colours
– Silk paper

- Prepare head, eyes and beak with modelling clay.
- Cut the wings.
- Glue all parts in the empty plastic of yogurt.
