PowerPoint allows users to create presentations consisting of slides, handouts, speaker notes, and outlines. Each presentation contains individual slides that can include text, titles, graphs, images, and other visual elements. Presentations can also include handouts with smaller printed versions of slides and notes pages to guide speakers. The PowerPoint environment provides toolbars for standard functions like saving and printing as well as formatting and drawing tools. Additional tools can be added to toolbars by customizing them.
