Africa is one of the less developed continents experiencing widespread poverty. Lack of access to clean drinking water, which over 1 billion people in Africa do not have, is a major overlooked cause of poverty. Conflict also exacerbates poverty as corrupt dictatorships rule without respecting human rights and treat citizens poorly. The effects of poverty include malnutrition, illiteracy, hunger, homelessness and increased disease. Hunger is also both a cause and effect of poverty, as most individuals cannot afford decent meals due to low currency values.

2. O One of the less developed countries
which is now in poverty is AFRICA. There
are a lot of reasons why poverty has
become wide spread in Africa.

O One of the greatest causes of poverty in Africa is
also the most overlooked...the lack of access to
clean drinking water.
O Nearly one billion people do not have access to
clean and safe water, which
means it is the same as of 1 in
8 people on the planet!

countries in the world Locals rebel against the
government as they are corrupted by money &
greed along with power
O Dictatorship are also one of the causes to conflict
as they rule out all human rights to their people and
treat people like Slaves .

O And Each individual in Africa are starving the
fact that their currency rate are really low
almost like our banana money in WW2
