I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
A. Identify the appropriate equipment and facilities need in poultry
production
B. Enumerate the uses of the equipment and facilities in poultry
production
C. Recognize the importance of equipment and facilities in poultry
management
D. Apply the knowledge in selecting equipment and facilities for
poultry animals

Poultry Production Equipment and Facilities are taken fully
automated, as this could introduce time and easy management.
The processes of equipment and facilities in poultry production all
in need among the layer, broiler and baby chickens raising
processing. Among the equipment and facilities in poultry
production used in chicken farms, chicken cages, equipment for
feeding chickens, drinking water and manure removal equipment
are also involved.

painted, will last longer.

An apparatus in which egg are hatch

A nest could be either open or close. The
nest should be built on a partition or end
walls. It should be high enough above
floor so that hens can work under them.

Brooder
A brooder is a heated container that
can have its temperature controlled
in at least one area. it is used to
confine chicks with their feed and
water until they are 2 weeks old
and ready to go outside.
